Privacy Policy

Last updated October 9, 2026

Elliott's Blur is a camera app made by Elliott Cost. It does not collect, store or share any of your personal information. Everything happens on your phone.

What the app doesn't do

Permissions

The app asks for these permissions, and only uses them on your device:

You can turn any of these off at any time in the Settings app on your phone.

What's saved on your phone

The app remembers a few settings, like your default blur level, whether flash and extra contrast are on, and whether you've seen the tutorial. These stay on your device and are deleted when you delete the app.

Photos and videos you save include a small note in their metadata with the blur level and which camera was used. Nothing else is added.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
